And still smokin’.
The Woodstock veteran tells CNN: “I sing around the house, or I sing at the top of my lungs in a car. People go by – there's this old lady singing at the top of her lungs with the radio up to about 130 decibels, smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. The only thing I don't do [while driving] is text. But yeah, I have a good time.”
We wish her many more happy singing years, but worry, doesn’t she know that smoking is THE WORST POSSIBLE THING ANY HUMAN CAN DO TO HER BODY? With “what we now know” forty years after Woodstock certainly everybody very well knows that. Even hipsters Jimi and Janis would tell her to quit today, if they could, but evidently they must have smoked a bit of tobacco themselves back in those dark ages.
