News ItemProp 29 Defeated13th June 2012 Why did California voters vote against Prop 29? Because it wasn't necessary, says Ashton Ellis, a professor at Pepperdine University's School of Public Policy. We don't know why the public didn't vote for Prop 29. maybe because they feel smoker's have been beaten up enough. Whatever the reason we are glad that this Proposition was defeated.
