Official Reports on Active Smoking Scientific Evidence Listing

Since the first report of the United States Surgeon General in 1964, the world has been witnessing a never-ending tightening of regulations and prohibition against smoking. A veritable antismoking industry has been created with its own politics, economics and, especially, political agendas. In this section we host all the major official reports on active smoking, ranging from the first and sensible US SG Report of 1964 that stated that "statistical methods cannot establish proof of a causal relationship in an association" to the most recent ones, that state that there is scientific proof that smoking causes disease. In reality, nothing has changed, and there is still NO scientific proof that smoking causes disease. What has changed is the definition proof – from an objective reality and repeatable phenomenon to the OPINION of a presumed majority that has used the force of politics to silence dissent.
