By the year 2000 prohibition metastasized to Europe. A European ban on tobacco advertisement was successfully imposed in 1998, and hysteria and ideology prevailed on freedom of speech and information.

Tobacco advertisement was banned on the basis of junk science — but the British tobacco industry did not sign the Master Settlement Agreement and did not bend over — not yet, at least. It sued the fascist law and won. All it takes is the courage (and the means) to go to  court — and the knowledge of fact and philosophy that will trounce the ideology of fanaticism and tyranny whenever and wherever fair hearing is given.
