In the article there is an interesting admission between the lines: "You don't have to prove it's a health risk, you just have to say 'I shouldn't have to live with this stink' ". If fact, you cannot prove that secondhand smoke is a heath risk. Good move, ASH, but too transparent. And talking about stink, why then do we have to live with ASH, when even the company of a turd is immensely preferable?

John Banzhaff, boss of this bunch of no-goods, is a law school professor, and can rely on his students for his socially destructive campaign of intimidation. It is obvious that this kind of scum believes in the motto: "If you smoke, first I'll sue you, then I'll know you". How long people are going to be afraid of this bully? How much damage must this individual and his organization has to do to society before he is stopped? Here is one hint: ASH is not exempt from a lawsuit, either. The only clear message here is that this putrid organization should be investigated and taken to court for instigation to intolerance and violence, the dissemination of false information, and many other charges. Goebbles was right: repeat lies with great intensity, and they'll become the new truth. It would apparently be OK if the bastards in the Ministries of Health would force Ford to have a picture of a crippled man on the doors of its cars, or Seagram to depict a vomiting person on the labels of its whiskey. Of course, this does not happen because there is no political glory or profit (yet) in persecuting other industries.

But the saddest part is the tobacco industry's cooperation with this slime, as the article inside clearly depicts. A press release indicated that an increase in non-fatal accidents was noted during the no-smoking day, when it is said that smokers try to quit. Subsequently, a second press release indicated that "no-smoking is bad for you". ASH was not amused. "We're all for making science more accessible, interesting and even amusing," said Clive Bates, director of Ash. "But smoking causes 120,000 premature deaths per year in the United Kingdom and up to 10 million consumers are addicted to nicotine."

We would like to ask this liar and buffoon very simple questions: What is the standard duration of a human life? 60, 70, 80? When is a man born in 1930 supposed to die in order not to die "prematurely"? Will May 24, 1999 at 23:00 hours do? Pacific, or Eastern standard time? Is a man of 95 who smoked a premature death? Is a woman of 83 who did not smoke a non-premature death? If a person dies of heart disease at 68, how do we know that the same person wouldn't have died of something else even earlier? And finally, if a person dies at 68 and did not smoke, is that a "premature death?"

DEFINE A PREMATURE DEATH! -- But you can't, can you, bozos?

The anti-smoking cartel is based exclusively on loose, vague and undefined statements, computer-generated statistics that have no connection with reality, on hate and emotional hysteria, and the cartel can never be pinned down to any specific, definite answer and scrutiny about the "science" they keep mentioning. We feel that this McCain bill should be supported because among the CRS Reports are the Report for Congress: Environmental Tobacco Smoke and Lung Cancer Risk which questioned the notion of dangers from second-hand smoke long before the WHO did (the WHO then tried to suppress the information). In addition, the public will be able to examine Cigarette Taxes to Fund Health Care Reform: An Economic Analysis, which debunks the idea that smokers are costly to society when all variables are considered. In Spain, we believe that smoking is a personal right. This is a free society,'' Simon Vinals said of his refusal to ban smoking in hall ways that he described as well-ventillated ( there was a no-smoking rule for conference rooms). Vinals denied that he had a responsibility to enforce morality. Once again, Europe demonstrates a sense of balance and moral integrity that seems to be totally lost in North America. Out there, being a scientific liar and a political crook clearly is not a requirement to be a health official.
An official of the American-controlled WHO said that the anti-smoking message "apparently has filtered down to Spain as yet."
