LIBERTARIANS JOINS SUIT TO OVERTURN PROPOSITION 10 - The Libertarian Party of California has joined the suit filed by the California Association of Retail Tobacconists to throw out the narrowly passed tobacco tax. The Libertarian Party has consistently supported the rights of individuals and is the only political party to acknowledge that the anti-tobacco agenda is completely incompatible with American principles, ideals and philosophy.

THE NANNY AWARDS - “If somebody is saying cigarette smoke is dangerous, we’re unlikely to challenge that. If the tobacco industry comes out and says that’s a bunch of hooey, we’re probably not as likely to have that spur us into an investigation as [if some other industry was making the same charge]. And that’s just the way it is.”

So says The Chicago Tribune news flack who candidly admitted the paper unquestioningly accepted the EPA's discredited secondhand smoke study. Is he an idiot? No, he is a nanny and is one of this years winners. Great summary of the people - and institutions - we all love to hate.

IT'S SIMPLE - BRING BACK THE SMOKING SECTION - From Britain comes news that Americans have known for years. Banning smoking on airlines has made travel almost unbearable for non-smokers as well as smokers. The anti-tobacco cartel's successful quest to banish smoking on flights has been a triumph of propaganda over science. The Department of Transportation in this country bent over backwards to concot a study justifying smoking bans on airlines. To their chagrin they failed, but bought politicians, such as Senator Durbin, D-IL, have increased the pressure on airlines to force them to discomfort their own passengers to placate the lunatic fringe.

For a giggle, read some of the asinine solutions being proposed in Europe. The solution is actually quite simple: Bring back the smoking sections.

SMOKING - FOR THE ELITE ONLY - Sad, and very obtuse, article about how the poor are coping with the regressive taxes and criminal shakedown foisted by a bunch of phony progressives whose humanity dictates that they steal from the poor and give to the politically well connected. Note the age of the smoker in the first paragraph. According to the health fascists he should be dead by now. Since he doesn't have the good grace to die early from a "tobacco related disease", he must be punished with additional poverty.

WHO: PLANETARY SCALE FRAUDS AND REPRESSION - The World Health Organization is showing its full colours of servitude to the US politics and the junk science of the anti-tobacco cartel by trying to spread the anti-tobacco cancer through the world. The US is the main financial support of the WHO. In obvious contempt for all democratic processes, this once-honorable organization seeks to impose bans on smoking in public in all countries of the world. It is quite clear that these fascists do not think that democracy and legal procedures apply to them, since they clearly perceive that their campaign of repression is above all constraints. Interesting the comments of the parties involved, except that no one addresses the fundamental issue:

the WHO IS LYING TO THE WORLD. ITS STATEMENTS ARE FALSE, BASED ON FALSE AND MANUPILATED SCIENCE, AND THE 10,000,000 YEARLY DEATHS BY 2020 ARE THE RESULTS OF A FALSE MATHEMATICAL MODEL.

Until these fundamental frauds are not dealt with, and punished, anti-tobacco and its international moppets will continue to create hatred and discrimination, while reaping the financial rewards of their criminal behavior.

It is crystal-clear by now that the WHO, and the health establishment it represents, are the most severe threat to liberty and democracy since the times of WWII. If strong international action is not taken to defeat this corrupted forces, if the citizens of all countries will not raise against these fascists disguised in white coats, the 21st century will be a time of Orwellian darkness, where knowledge and truth will be in the servitude of power, as it was in the Dark Ages. STUDY PAID BY THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY TELLS SMOKERS TO DOUBLE THE DOSAGE! - There you go guys. All you have to do to market your garbage is to be the pharmaceutical industry and finance a study. First, it has to be a study that helps to forbid smoking by confirming old lies about primary and secondary smoking, or better yet inventing new ones. Then the sold-out fools in the media will report it, pushed by the paid anti-tobacco hate organisations that are cheering it along. Now that you have managed to ostracise tax paying citizens who harm no one out of places where they belong while contributing to society way more than the non-smoking citizen, your good, disinterested hearth offers them a solution: buy my smoking cessation devices.

THEY DIDN'T INHALE? - "It is fortunate for President Clinton that his State of the Union speech was not delivered under oath. For it contained at least one clear lie. This article once again highlights the relentless lies of Bill Clinton, and the rest of the anti-tobacco cartel, this time to increase taxes on tobacco even more. The forces of liberty and anti-tobacco seem to agree on the reality that smokers live shorter lives. While anti-tobacco uses this point to demonstrate that tobacco is such an "epidemic", the economy analysts see this as an advantage because of the lower draw on pensions due to the smokers' shorter lives. In the meantime, however, the most "reputable" liar of the anti-tobacco cartel, the US Center for Disease Control, demonstrates with its own figures that SMOKERS LIVE LONGER LIVES THAN NON-SMOKERS, WHILE EX-SMOKERS LIVE THE SHORTEST!
And a gigantic, independent Australian study also disproves the theory that smokers cost more to the medicare system than non-smokers... What the hell, read the whole section.

Now, we have to put it to you: WHEN THE LIAR LIES, DOES HE ACTUALLY SPEAK THE TRUTH, OR WHEN THE LIAR SPEAKS THE TRUTH DOES HE ACTUALLY LIE?

ANSWER TO A PUTRID CANADIAN EDITORIAL - We never thought that the Globe & Mail was on the side of smokers. But at least we thought that it was a fair newspaper, reporting both sides of the story.

This seems to have changed, at least judging by the putrid editorial recently published by this newspaper, obviously fallen in line with the anti-tobacco cartel "credo" of hatred and intolerance against smokers. Is it intimidation by the cartel? Is it political correctness? It is the Canadian press racing the American one to see who is the most nauseating one, and the greatest liar?

POLICE CRACKDOWN ON SMOKING --AND --
AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION BLACKMAILS S.F. - Despite its reputation as an anti-smoking hell hole, San Franciscans care very little for the anti-smoking agenda. The city didn't ban smoking in restaurants until forced to do so by the state and even now doesn't have a local law forbidding smoking in bars. The politicians, although completely intimidated by anti-tobacco operatives, also have little interest in interfering with personal choices. As a consequence, the state-wide prohibition of smoking in bars is openly flouted and city officials have let the bars set their own smoking policies.

That tolerance is about to come to an end. The anti-tobacco cartel has been using the loot it receives from the tobacco tax to whip up a frenzy of fanaticism regarding the horrible and unspeakable crime of smoking in bars. The American Lung Association has taken out full page ads in local newspapers and bought radio and television spots claiming that smoking in bars violates the American for Disabilities Act and also, incredibly, violates civil rights laws. The American Heart Association has threatened to sue the city to force compliance.

Threatening law suits is a strong-arm tactic long utilized by the the anti-tobacco cartel to bully politicians. The American Lung Association has sued the Environmental Protection Agency several times even as it accepted massive grants from the agency. The threat of a lawsuit against San Francisco draws high praise from anti-tobacco con artist Stanton Glantz.

Glantz crows on his anti-tobacco bulletin board: "Thanks to the willingness of AHA to sue the City over Mayor Willie Brown's policy of not enforcing the state Smoke Free Bar law combined with City Attorney Luoise Rennie's willingness to get things moving at City Hall, things are now on track in SF! I will be posting the letter that this article refers to shortly. It would be helpful if AHA or the other voluntaries took similar strong actions in the other "problem" cities."

Citizens of the city may be surprised that unelected buffoons such as Stanton Glantz and tax grabbing organizations like the American Heart Association actually run the city rather than the Mayor and the Board of Supervisors.

The crackdown promises that citations will be issued to customers found smoking in bars which will be accompanied by $76 fines. Interestingly, the state law, Labor Code 6404.5, doesn't contain provisions for citing bar patrons and, as noted above, San Francisco does not have a local anti-smoking bar relevant to bars. When asked under what ordinance can patrons be cited for smoking in bars, the Police Public Affairs Office could provide no answer. Calls to the District Attorney's Office and City Attorney's Office were not returned.

PROPOSITION 10 TAKEN TO COURT - Proposition 10, the $.50 per pack tax hike pushed by Rob "Meathead" Reiner, barely passed last November. Many smokers erroneously supposed that the tobacco industry would sue to halt its implementation They supposed in vain since the tobacco industry is busy lobbying state legislatures accross the country to approve the tobacco shakedown approved by the industry and the states' attorneys general and will initiate no action that could offend the criminals they hope to placate.

A group of tobacconists have stepped into the breach and are contending that the initiative violates the state constitution. Predicably, the state politicians who are controlled by the anti-tobacco cartel are denouncing the suit. Hiding behind the children, State Controller Kathleen Connell has vowed to fight the suit with her last breath. Let's hope the tobacconists win.

RESTAURANT SMOKING BAN OVERTURNED - The city of Marquette, Michigan, at the behest of anti-tobacco operatives, attempted to ban smoking in restaurants. The restaurants sued and the ban was overturned. That's the good news. The bad news is that it was thrown out because the state law overrules local smoking regulations. The anti-tobacco cartel and its political stooges will use this incident as a justification to amend the state law. Restranteurs, and, more importantly, the American public will lose as long as legal action is based on technicalities of jurisdiction. What Americans and businesses must realize and articulate is that the government does not have the right to regulate smoking on private property.

BRITISH COLUMBIA REICHSTAG: THE BRUTAL REPRESSION IN BC HOSPICES IS BASED ON FALSE SCIENCE - "...It is time to dust off the truth, and proceed with criminal charges and other decisive actions against the BC Ministry of Health, its officers, and the scumbag health organizations who are falsifying data and other information on primary and second hand smoke. DOJ LAUNCHES CRACKDOWN ON "ALCOHOL-RELATED" CRIME: FASCISM CERTAINLY DOES NOT STOP WITH TOBACCO - He-e-e-e-re's the next deep pocket target! We are trying to figure out Clinton's simultaneous goals of investing 15% of social security in the stock market and his federal suit against the tobacco industry for "health costs." Does he mean we have to invest before or after he drives all the industries from the U.S.?? But do not despair: like the tobacco industry, the alcohol industry is also ready to lick the boots (and what's in between them) of the powerful dictators oppressing the US. What's to be expected from invertebrate species, but to crowl?

CHIEF GANGSTER BILL CLINTON AND HIS ADMINISTRATION ARE AT IT AGAIN - It is time for the American people, smokers or not, to put an end to the criminal activities of the White House and its minions with whatever means necessary. This is no longer a matter of health, or even damages. The politics of the White House, which is desperate because of the imminent impeachment of its President, indicate readiness to gamble everything to the extreme consequences, and are nothing short of highway robbery in the attempt to steal money for another failure of the Clinton administration: Medicare.

No need to use half words, here. The Clinton Administration is a criminal regime that has no boundaries or scruples about lying, stealing, bullying, and suppressing liberties while subverting the political, legal, and industrial system of the country that it is supposed to govern.

PROHIBITION NOW - Joyce Howard Price writes in The Washington Times: "They are conducting a nonviolent but multipronged offensive to reduce alcohol consumption in this country by limiting advertising of beer, wine and liquor, boosting federal and state alcohol taxes, and getting the federal government to label alcohol a human carcinogen." Sound familiar? The Center for Science in the Public Interest is itching to join the big boys running the national shakedown rackets.
