"In a career spanning more than 60 years, Berry, a rugged-faced pipe smoker, worked alongside many of the era's leading lights, from Orson Welles to Paul Muni, Richard Wright, Joan Fontaine, John Garfield, Shelley Winters, Fernandel, Jean-Paul Sartre, John Houseman, Lillian Gish, Curt Jurgens and Dorothy Dandridge." Another premature, tobacco-related death, no doubt. We are not kidding. Every smoker who dies is logged as a tobacco-related death to beef up mortality statistics and imply that those who don't smoke are either immortal, or live much longer lives. And when they die (…sorry, IF they die) they are not logged as a tobacco-related deaths even if they died of the identical diseases of smokers. … How else do you think that the anti-tobacco cartel builds up its statistical garbage about the "smoking epidemic?" For more information on other famous premature deaths, click here. If you want to know how the epidemiological anti-smoking frauds are fabricated, click here.
The action by the Second Amendment supporters is a positive development that should inspire American citizens to pursue additional legal action against the insanity that has engulfed this country in the 1990's. The successful shakedown of the Tobacco Industry - paid for by the American public - was the result of avaricious lawyers joining together with publicly financed special interest groups in order to loot an industry and ban tobacco. Since then the same greedy lawyers and other publicly financed pressure groups have gone after the gun industry and gun owners. The case is currently building for an assault on the fast food, food producing and restaurant industries for the newly discovered "epidemic" of obesity. Alcohol will surely join the list of victims in due time. One word of advice to the group suing the mayors. Don't stop with the craven politicians. As with tobacco, the real perpetrators are the non-profit, government-funded special interest organizations that work in concert with government parasites looking to expand governmental control. These partners in crime manufacture the junk science, whip up the media and intimidate any opposition. In short they are an organized shakedown cartel and should be charged in the federal courts under the RICO statute, as should the anti-tobacco cartel and its goons. That was after his sister had died of lung cancer presumably caused
by tobacco and before he tearfully took the platform of the Democratic
National Convention to denounce the horrors of smoking and to relate
how he had unsuccessfully begged his sister to quit. At the time of
his emotional appearance, he was roundly criticized for one of the
more hypocritical political performances in recent memory.
Now it seems that Gore has failed to learn any lessons from that
embarrassing debacle. We don't know whether this approach is a "surprise legal
twist" for court theatrics, a real conviction, or the tobacco
industry's own way to humour the absurd health claims of the
anti-tobacco gangsters. Regardless, it certainly is a pathetic
display in the context of a persecution that is entering a new
dimension. Nearly forty years of "selective breeding" of
junk science seems to surface in this sad show of how fraud can
triumph over truth and honesty. In that forty years, data have been
ignored or picked according to political agendas, and fraudulent
scientific foundations have been consolidated into dogma by two
generations of corrupt scientists, politicians and lobby groups .
We are too poisonous to be regulated by the FDA is the
pathetic message of an industry that has paid too many lawyers and too
many oily PR blood-suckers - and certainly, it did not hire enough
hard-core fighters to expose the frauds of a corrupt system. We say:
go, Philip Morris. Go to hell -- literally, since you're so eager to
say that you drink sulphur, and that you are the Devil himself. Say
that you sell poison, and cover your head with the ashes of your
cigarettes -- maybe you will even evoke the compassion of psychopathic
types like David Kessler!
Shutting down production and leaving the country in chaos while
depriving your persecutors of the money they steal from us smokers
would be the way, but that would require political vision -- and
especially a pair of glands. But indeed, smoking causes
impotence, doesn't it?
But not even your betrayal will change the fact that the
"dangers" of tobacco are largely a fraud. Giving oral
sex to a corrupt system will only lower you to the level of it (look
what happened to poor old Monica). Actually, you are already there. Re: National Cancer
Institute Monograph 10 on "new evidence" on the
"dangers " of passive smoking.
' But critics said the HHS plan would allow a host of individuals
and groups - including some who are currently barred or legally
restricted -- to access citizens' private medical records. According
to the proposal, the recommended standards ultimately would provide
access for health plan providers, hospitals, researchers, medical
students, government agents, law enforcement officials, and others --
with or without the patient's prior consent. ' Isn't the final goal of the Health-for-all, Neo-socialist state to
check out the lives of citizens so behaviour can be monitored and
controlled? For the good of the citizens, of course! While this is paraphrasing the header of this article by the
Washington Post, it is also meant to rectify the political antismoking
spin that this newspaper, now subservient to the anti-tobacco cartel's
political agenda, has put on the story.
If the FDA is successful in regulating nicotine, the American
health cartel will have effectively gained a kind of political control
that so far has been only reserved to the US Congress. That would be
the first time for such a catastrophe in the history of the United
States. It would mean that gangsters like FDA commissioner David
Kessler would have the real political power when it comes to health
matters. And since almost everything can be reduced to health matters
one way or another, it would also mean that health lobby groups, the
medical profession, the so-called "non-profits", and all
those who want to submit liberty and politics to the false claims and
the interests of the pharmaceutical multinationals and their minions
would have virtually achieved complete control in the US.
That kind of political control would immensely affect many other
countries. The antismoking cancer would spread even faster, and it
would become the vector for more political control and arm-twisting by
the pharmaceutical multinationals and the health cartel through the US
government.
Regardless of personal opinions about the tobacco industry, during
this showdown this industry represents what is left of the freedom of
a country that is losing more of its liberties every day, as power
gets more and more concentrated into the hands of an immense
bureaucracy controlled by neo-socialist lobby groups that have neither
scruples nor morality. This showdown is actually between those who
want to rule our lives, our choices, and our behaviour with lies and
force, and those who are opposing that agenda.
Today we will not linger on the outright frauds of the health
cartel on "smoking-related" diseases. We will not talk about
the hate campaigns against smokers, nor we will advocate the right of
an industry - any industry - to promote its legal products. Those are
points that we have made and demonstrated repeatedly, and we will
continue to do so no matter how powerful the American and
international health cartel becomes while endangering us all.
Now, we are just waiting with suspended breath the historical
decision of the US Supreme Court. " They say the state's ban that took effect on Sept. 18 is not
about smoking, and it is not all about money. Instead, they are
framing the issue in terms of freedom of choice, free enterprise, and
preserving the constitutionally protected right to the pursuit of
happiness."
''The state
Legislature has completely overstepped their bounds in trying to
dictate how free enterprise works,'' said Hofsaes, who quit smoking 15
years ago. ''Freedom of choice and enterprise should not be determined
on a state level.'' Way to go, freedom fighters! This is the type of news
FORCES is happy to report.
The anti-smoking gangsters, however, keep producing false
evidence showing that smoking bans are a great opportunity for
businesses. Sure, you liars. That is simply NOT what's happening.
Let us say it once again:
Everywhere else, while it is right that non-smokers who don't like
the scent of tobacco are not exposed to it, the accommodation of
smokers so that they can exercise their right to smoke in
comfortable areas that are dignifying and respectful
of their choice is a non-negotiable issue. Throwing smokers
outside while they sustain a financial burden much greater than
their share in society is not acceptable and must be
fought will any means.
May the example of the Maine rebellion be the spark that ignites
the flame. But are they? In much more recent times, Ronald Reagan had an
astrologer at the White House. Now, in these times of leftist
progress, we have done away with astrologers, and much more serious
people are influencing the governments of the Earth. The art of
illusion and deception has evolved from star motion observation and
spider webs picked at midnight to computer-generated electronic
statistical charts.
The deception has also evolved into much more serious frauds, while
the players are now of the calibre of the WHO, the new Wizard Health
Organisation. Its art to deceive obscures the greatest names in the
history of magic, from Merlin to Houdini. Even modern David
Copperfield cannot even remotely perform this kind of magic. Magic is
mystery, and explanation of magic cannot be pursued.
Here comes BBC with yet another piece of WHO magic:
MORE THAN 122,000 BRITISH
SMOKERS WILL DIE PREMATURELY IN THE YEAR 2000
More magic at work:
The BBC, in pure anti-tobacco cartel patronising style, says that "The
WHO has developed a technique to assess the impact of smoking on
society, and to measure the effect of successfully persuading people
to give up the habit." What that technique is, how
it has been developed, what interests are behind it, is not
for us to know, of course. All we have to know is that we have to quit
smoking because the anti-tobacco gangsters say so, and wish
it. What media would dare challenging the WHO's magic? Like in
the Middle Ages, the fear of evil spells by the international
antismoking cartel is sufficient to silence the dissent, and keep the
propaganda mouthpieces going.
The statistical fraudulent model of the WHO, however, belongs more
to an international criminal trial than to the realm of magic.
Nevertheless, the fascination continues. Obeying to recent directives
from this corrupt organisation, East European governments are
beginning to ban tobacco advertising and start the persecution of
smokers.
POLAND BANS
CIGARETTE ADVERTISING
"Nearly a quarter of its population still smokes and more
than seventy thousand people die from Smoking related diseases each
year, but the tobacco industry says the new law won't curb smoking and
it will find new marketing strategies."
Good on you, tobacco industry! Keep that freedom of choice
going, and don't forget to expose the fruds of the cartel! Of
course, the industry is smarter than making such a direct statement,
which is obviously a "free" interpretation of the clown who
has written the short article with the blessing of the state-run BBC
direktorat. Of course, the 70,000 figure is part of the same
fraudulent WHO model, and not worthy of further comment.
The Budapest Sun also reports: "Everywhere you go in
Hungary there are people smoking, so how will the new smoking law
implemented this month ever be upheld? More to the point, is this a
law the people support?"
"The rights of smokers are protected however, by the
concession that public buildings must provide an area for smokers to
pursue their habit undisturbed by the hand of the law. This also
applies to train compartments marked with a smoking sign, but such
compartments will not be found on journeys less than 100km."
The concern for the rights of smokers speak highly of this
civilised nation that has known the whip of totalitarianism. And let's
face it: wherever is forbidden, smokers will simply break the law.
This is what happens in Italy, France, Spain, Hungary, and in all the
non-Anglosaxon European nations where this abuse of the rights of
smokers is practiced -- and smoking bans are ignored on trains too, by
the way. When enough smokers do it, the cost of enforcement gets too
high, and the state surrenders. This is what should
happen everywhere.
But the criminal agenda of the international cartel also has its
strategy: starting slow at first, the persecution of smokers will
increase as the local media will be "convinced" with the
appropriate means (whatever it takes) to vomit the medical and
statistical distortions generated by the international cartel and
properly amplified by the magic WHO loudspeakers. And like in the
States and in England, local media of the (former) stature of BBC will
become an instrument of propaganda and deception to the very public
they are supposed to inform objectively.
So, it is the magic of fraud against the application of truth and
common sense. Differently than the Hollywood stories, however, evil
has many chances to win. But on the other side of the barricade, more
and more voices and counter-propaganda are popping up everywhere to
shake the ignorant masses from their torpor. Hopefully, there will be
enough of us to unmask this international criminal effort, and deliver
those people to the blind eyes of justice, one way or another. The slump in sales may show a totally different picture, astutely
neglected by the Associated Press report: more smokers are getting
smarter and buy smuggled cigarettes, buy from small manufacturers that
are not included in the Great Settlement Rip Off, buy
"recycled" cigarettes destined to foreign market (not
counted in the settlement), smoke pipes and cigars, buy from outside
the nation, roll their own, grow their own tobacco, and so on.
There is one overwhelmingly positive aspect to this trend: the
anti-tobacco cartel and its state accomplices get less money they can
use to lie to us, fuel anti-smoking hate campaigns, and use OUR money
for their pet projects. This is good news indeed.
"The situation puts some state budget-crunchers in limbo
as they plan to spend money they do not yet have on everything from
education and health care to new roads and prisons," says
the article.
The anti-tobacco gangsters of course are not happy: ' "The
portion of money that has been allocated for tobacco prevention is
less than 2 percent of the total money coming into the state, so I
would certainly hope the minimal amount we are receiving would be the
same," said Rochelle Ripley, the spokeswoman for Connecticut's
anti-tobacco MATCH Coalition.'
Well, that is 2 percent too much. Keep on smoking, smokers
of America - but keep on smoking smart. Never
give your money to the anti-tobacco cartel unless you can't do
otherwise. There are plenty of ways you can use to get smokes. Just
some of them are listed above. The state will try to block those ways,
but more and more will become available. The goal is to get the cost
of enforcement to be so heavy, it is going to crush under its
own weight -- and squash the anti-smoking bastards in the process. "Over the last decade, tobacco has become a convenient
boogeyman. Apparently, for the next quarter-century, it will become
something a little different: a cash cow. And now that the state
attorneys general have seen how lucrative it can be to gang up on an
industry, they're hunting for new cows. Gun manufacturers are up
next."
"And coming soon, maybe your business." 'The National Council of Tobacco and Health asked a research
team to change its methods for analysing the economic consequences of
smoking: the methods had been agreed on before the project started,
but the council later asked the team to switch to a method that would
make smoking seem more "costly" to society." '
Professor Kristiansen may not see that there are NO ETHICAL RULES
IN THE INTERNATIONAL ANTI-TOBACCO HEALTH CARTEL. Some critics of
FORCES have accused us of repeating always the same things. This is
often true. But for as long as there are people out there who still
believe in the honesty of health institutions without seeing that that
those institutions have to be considered by default enemies
of liberty and truth if they endorse anti-tobacco's false claims, we
are forced to repeat ourselves.
It would be much easier for us to maintain an oily PR attitude
while an entire generation is blatanlty lied to by the very
same people it trusts with its money and often its life, but THAT
would be the unethical thing to do. The ethical nature of our
organisation DEMANDS that we call liar a liar, and fraud
a fraud (whether or not frauds and lies are state-protected), and that
we demand punishment for the perpetrators.
For more information about the frauds of the international
anti-tobacco cartel, Click
here. "So, how do we stop that?" think the sick minds
of the anti-tobacco cartel. "It is quite clear that the youth
(rightfully) gives us the middle finger when we tell them all our
lies. What can we do to prevent the youth from getting what they like
-- the evil weed?"
"GOT IT! We will 'discover' that Bidis are made with child
slave labour, and use this as an excuse to block the import of this
terrible stuff, so that the youth will not smoke it anymore." Great means do not mean great minds. So, here comes the
anti-tobacco cartel's trumpeters from CBS with the fake
reason: an expose` on child slave labour by ONE of the manufacturers
of Bidis cigarettes. What better excuse to forbid the import for ALL
Bidis, associate tobacco with yet another negative image, and prevent
the youth from enjoying?
We are certainly not defending child slave labour, and it may be
quite true that an Indian cigarette manufacturer is indeed using
children for its manufacturing purposes. But child labour is a problem
that affects very many depressed economies. Child labour is used to
manufacture many products regularly imported by the US. Valuable,
hand-made Persian rugs, for example, can only be produced by
the small hands of children. Sometimes, those industrious hands become
useless by the time the child has reached the age of 12, for they get
totally worn out by the relentless work. To our knowledge, however,
the import of hand-made Persian rugs is not forbidden in the US. So,
when do we get to watch a CBS special on Persian rugs?
Those who have been in the Third World and have ventured beyond the
safe limits of their tourist resources have seen the reality of
famished, depressed societies. Sometimes, the work of a child (who has
no other social infrastructure to turn to) is ALL
the wealth a hungry family has to buy some food with.
The schizophrenic mentality (and values) of a spoiled West (who is
always outraged but it seldom offers tangible arternatives) cannot
always apply to the Third World -- nor can its sick anti-smoking
policies.
When children have to eat gravel to ease their feeling of hunger,
they certainly have no inclination to think whether the pay
they get is fair, or whether they manufacture cigarettes --
or smoke one. Something the WHO has conveniently chosen to
put in the back burner of its priorities in order to pursue its stupid war on smoking -- and
collect the financial benefits of it.
Here is a link to a Bidis cigarette
manufacturer. Thanks to this last stupid attack by brainless US
media, the price (and desirability) of Bidis has just gone
up among the American youth. And even if all Bidis are totally
forbidden, "plain brown envelopes" loaded with Bidis will
still get into the US at twice the price from countries other
than India. The US custom simply cannot check them all. We have reported (and humoured) one of the latest
"findings" of the international cartel: "Breast cancer linked
to smoking and ETS at puberty." It has been brought to our
attention that even this absurd claim is not new but actually one year
old, though presented by the Aussie niconazis at "the latest
finding."
In his commentary on that "study" dating back to December, 1998 Steven Milloy
says:
"Ho-ho-ho!
No, that's not Santa Claus. That's me doing a seasonal
"Ha-ha-ha!" after reading a new study in the January 1, 1999
issue of the American Journal of Epidemiology reporting that
secondhand smoke is associated with breast cancer. " After all, we are close to Christmas, aren't we? What a joke! The NCI
just issued a press release portraying the 1997 Cal/EPA report (which
made headlines two years ago) as "new" and "the
most comprehensive report on the health risks of second hand smoke
ever conducted."
New??? Indeed, the tobacco control
gang at NCI must be desperate to try to pull this off to make it
appear as if new, fresh "evidence" is coming up.
Since then, this piece of fraud has been debunked by
several parties, a Federal Court has gunned down the EPA report
on ETS, The World Health Organisation's own huge study on second hand
smoke has not just failed to show any lung cancer effect, but it
has even shown a protective effect [1]. Too bad for
the WHO!
Another gargantuan WHO
study has failed to show any connection even between primary
smoking and heart disease, while tons of other evidence and
studies have failed to prove harmful effects of ETS - in fact
proving that there are none [2] [3] [4] ETC..
The anti-tobacco cartel running out of lies & frauds? Hard to
believe, they have too much money. Certainly, more are cooked as we
print with ever more ludicrous claims (click here for an example),
but for now there seems to be a gap. The NCI's press release
deceptively refers to it as "today's report...the new
report...the new findings." Not once
does it mention that this "new report" was published in 1997. Ah, but then the public's
none the wiser, right? Tsk, tsk, you little big cheat NCI!
Even more incredible is today's Reuters wire ("Secondhand
smoke linked to more health risks") which refers to it as
"the new government report." No mention whatsoever that it's
the Cal/EPA report. Whooeeey, talk about misleading the
public!
In the NCI press release, an over-zealous Carol Browner talks about
how this "new" report "confirms"
that, among other things, cigarettes "threaten the health of
anyone who is even near a lighted cigarette, especially
children." Shut up, you liar.
Well, we'll see who in the media falls for it. Reuters did -- hook,
line and sinker! But did it really - or is it just consciously
pushing the antismoking fraud just another step? After all, it is well
known that Reuters, as every good moputhpiece of the anti-tobacco
cartel, is only too eager to put forward every piece of fraud against
tobacco while ignoting the other face of the coin.
[NCI Tobacco Control Monographs No.3, "Strategies to
Control Tobacco Use in the US: A blueprint for public health
action in the l990s," Department of Health and Human
Services, National Cancer Institute, Oct l991, p. 208]. If anyone wants to ask Richard Klausner,
M.D., Director of the National Cancer Institute, how NCI justifies
portraying the Cal/EPA report as "new," his address is:
National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD
20892.
And since it's unethical for a government agency to knowingly
mislead the public, as NCI appears to have done, it is possible to
register a complaint with Stephen D. Potts, Director of U.S. Office of
Government Ethics, 1201 New York Ave., NW, Suite 500, Washington DC,
20005-3917. In a 3-0 ruling, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said a 1997
ordinance in Tacoma, Wash., violated a 1969 federal law that prohibits
local governments from applying any ``requirement or prohibition based
on smoking and health'' to cigarette advertising. By "pure" coincidence and at the same time, the Canadian
cartel discovers that " Imperial Tobacco was obsessed with luring
Canadian teens into smoking".
The sad display of both lack of brains and original thinking by a
country that is already borrowing all its gray matter from the United
States (bad choice these times, boys!) is well described by the
article of the National Post in the header. So far, the National Post
does not seem yet totally sold to the local cartel.
Since the anti-tobacco cartel cannot prove the dangers of tobacco,
not it can convince smokers who are yawning when listening to
anti-tobacco propaganda, the cartel does once again what it does best:
slanders the tobacco industry, gets mentally challenged individuals
like Canadian Health Ministers to receive crooks like Wingand, and
keeps producing epidemiological frauds. What else can they do?
Keep on smoking… "Dr Ken Denson, of the Thame Thrombosis and Haemostosis
Research Foundation in Oxford, has spent the last decade studying
smoking-related illnesses and concluded that the real problem isn't
the cigarettes, but the poor diet of smokers."
"Denson claims most of these studies are flawed because they
haven't taken diet into account. Smokers have been shown to eat less
fruit and vegetables and more saturated fats than non-smokers, a
combination linked to cancer and heart disease. They tend to come from
lower social classes already prone to bad diet." Immediately, the anti-tobacco gang reacts with blind hysteria.
Rabid anti-smoker and "creative" statistician Prof.
Richard Peto of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund shouts: 'Any
competent scientist is aware of the evidence that there is proof
beyond reasonable doubt that smoking causes lung cancer,' showing
either incredible incompetence or, more probably, absolute dishonesty.
THERE IS NO PROOF THAT SMOKING CAUSES CANCER BECAUSE THE
GENESIS OF CANCER IS NOT KNOWN.
Amanda Sandford of the ASH gang goes beyond tantrum: 'The
evidence is absolutely overwhelming, there have been millions of
studies showing how dangerous smoking is. It is dangerous to play down
those effects.'
MILLIONS OF STUDIES!!? We don't think so! But it is
quite true that the pressure in the cooker of truth is
building up to dangerous levels for the anti-tobacco cartel -- and the
cartel can smell that.
The unarguable fact is that the overwhelming majority of those
"studies" depart from the dogma that smoking is
dangerous, and continue from that original and unsubstantiated
hypothesis with further assumptions to quantify how
much more dangerous smoking is -- according to the political
needs of the moment.
So far - and as far as orthodox science is concerned - there has
been NO PROOF that ANY of the
so-called "dangers" of smoking is substantial. The
anti-tobacco cartel proceeds with false information to validate
a basic assumption ("smoking is no good for you")
that is rooted mainly in POPULAR FOLKLORE.
Though that does not mean that smoking is totally harmless
(nothing is), it however means that all the claims against smoking are
not just unproven, but even their original basic negative assumptions
have been immensely over-stretched. More and more pressing
evidence is emerging that a wrong diet is WAY more hazardous than
smoking -- and not just for smokers.
