ANSWER TO A PUTRID CANADIAN EDITORIAL

We never thought that the Globe & Mail was on the side of smokers. But at least we thought that it was a fair newspaper, reporting both sides of the story.

This seems to have changed, at least judging by the putrid editorial recently published by this newspaper, obviously fallen in line with the anti-tobacco cartel "credo" of hatred and intolerance against smokers. Is it intimidation by the cartel? Is it political correctness? It is the Canadian press racing the American one to see who is the most nauseating one, and the greatest liar?

We don't know -- and we don't care. But the criminal escalation of this witch hunt must be stopped with whatever means necessary, for more and more it reminds of another sickening historical period between 1933 and 1945.

It is very clear by now that having the "wrong habit" in the North America of the 90's is getting to be as bad as having the "wrong nose" in the Germany of the 30's.

Here are the answer of Gian Turci (FORCES INTERNATIONAL) to the editorial. The answer has been forwarded to the Globe and Mail.

MORE SUGGESTIONS ABOUT SMOKING

The article of the Globe and Mail dated January 21, 1999 by the title "Make Smoking a Yuk Factor" pulls no punches on what anti-tobacco is all about.

So, it is clear that the forces of reason have to respond with no punches either.

So, here it is. We would like to ask the buffoon who wrote the above-mentioned article to substantiate specifically the "manner of evidence" that links tobacco use to heart disease and low birth weight. SPECIFICALLY, please. We want to see the evidence in the hands of this clown.

Also, it would be interesting to ask Minister of Health Allan Rock to quantify the so-called deadly chemicals and compare them to atmospheric pollution. Lastly, show CAUSAL evidence that smoking is linked to bladder cancer. SPECIFICALLY, please.

Don't worry, we don't expect an answer, for the only honest one would be "we cannot prove any of that", and honesty is certainly not an earmark of anti-tobacco. Nor we expect that this letter is going to be published. It is too clear and unequivocal to be published by politically correct anti-tobacco press.

We only agree with the writer of the article on one point: the issue of tobacco must become more visceral -- especially on the side of smokers. We have to start throwing rotten eggs on the face of the lurid scum that writes lies and instigates hatred against 30% of the Canadian population, that gets government money to fabricate sensationalistic junk science (actually, in that case jail would do better than eggs) and literally puke on the heads of those who teach children to contemptuously look at adults who smoke.

It is high time to throw this garbage down the toilet together with anti-tobacco, its lies, and the people who support it, starting with the Ministries of Health, continuing with anti-smoking organizations, and ending with certain editorialists of the Globe and Mail.
