“Doctors ask Ottawa to buy Imperial Tobacco to phase it out.” It seems the brilliant response to the Imperial Tobacco plant closings, and the loss of 650 high paying jobs, from Physicians For a Smoker-Free Canada was to call on Ottawa to piss away even more Billions to buy-out Imperial Tobacco. This is supposedly to gradually eliminate tobacco use in Canada in the next 20-30 years. This of course, is the very same Canada, which “CONTROLS” by nationalizing drinking and gambling. Let’s take the claim of these PARASITES at face value. What will really be accomplished? A whole new patronage dumping ground for washed up Liberal Party connected: hacks, flacks and PARASITES/Academic Daydreamers. Most Canadians, outside of Ontario, think Canada has more than enough of these PARASITES at the public trough. Don’t we have enough Dings In The Wall? But weren’t these the very same economic geniuses whose earlier crusade, only months ago, called for the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) forced divestiture of tobacco stocks? Nine months later they are calling for the Nationalization of tobacco companies. Only a Liberal Party Funded group of PARASITES could simultaneously propose BOTH Divestiture and Nationalization. Why did God make urine yellow and sperm white? So Physicians For a Smoker Free Canada could figure out whether they are coming or going. Lest you think I exaggerate, Reuters just reported Friday that since the beginning of the year the stock of Rothman’s excluding dividends has gone up 14.5% this year outperforming even the energy rich TSX composite. I don’t feel unpatriotic as a Canadian to hope that the Trustees of the CPP did not listen to the clowns at Physicians For A Smoker-Free Canada, and their reliable lapdogs at the Toronto Red Star and the Ottawa Citizen and heavily invested in not only Rothmans, but also Altria (Phillip Morris), B.A.T. (Imperial Tobacco), RJR, etc. By the way the stocks of both the parent companies of the Toronto Red Star (Torstar B) and the Ottawa Citizen (Canwest Global) are both showing negative returns for the year. Since the call for Divestiture by Physicians For a Smoker Free Canada, the tobacco stocks on a total return basis (price appreciation plus dividends) have out performed virtually everything in the stock market including Canadian oil stocks. Who is “BIG TOBACCO?” It’s your pension. It’s your kid’s college education. It’s easy to sit there and luxuriously daydream as a Physician For A Smoker-Free Canada. They are the recipients of the millions of YOUR tax dollars every year. YOU are paying millions to a bunch of Liberal Party connected know nothing quacks, who, unlike most of their fellow Canadians are unburdened with thoughts of YOUR pension or putting YOUR kids through college. The Liberal Party of Canada has generously assured that members (a membership that has its rewards) in Physicians For A Smoker-Free Canada do not have to concern themselves with such mundane matters. Its not like millions of Canadians suddenly stopped smoking. The production has moved to Mexico. From now on ALL the Du Mauriers and Players (about 90% of the Canadian market) will be made in Mexico. Readers of this page are fully aware that I am not in the habit of defending Imperial Tobacco or the tobacco companies in general, if for no other reason than they have never lifted a finger for smokers rights. Can you really blame the tobacco companies for saying they have had enough of the endless harassment from the Liberals? You would think that the story of the loss of 650 very highly paid jobs (I’ve seen reports that these jobs averaged over $80,000 annually) would have been big news across Canada. Canadian Press put it the story on its wire service. It wasn’t exactly a big news week in Canada either, save for the usual Liberal Party posturing (yaaawwwwnnn) of the endless softwood lumber dispute with the Americans. What the Liberal Party and their Lapdogs in the media fail to inform Canadians is that Canada is running a $77 Billion annual trade surplus with the U.S. Canada’s paper of record, The Grope & Flail did not consider the story newsworthy enough to include in either its National News or its Report On Business. Lesser papers either ignored it all together or buried it in their back pages or in the business page. Why the deafening silence from the usually shrill anti-smoking press that cheers on this cornerstone policy of The Liberal Party of Canada? Dateline - Toronto, Ontario
Toronto’s schmuck du jour winner is not a single individual, but rather the legions of anti-smoking nuts from Ontario Public Health, where affirmative action meets the Peter Principle (everyone rises to their own level of incompetence). Ordinarily the deaths of ANOTHER three people, bringing the toll up to 20 so far-from legionnaires disease which they assured the world for 13 days was not legionnaires disease would be the big story out of Hogtown. This came after their highly celebrated handling of the SARS crisis. These very same Schmucks (Yid. Untranslatable. George Costanza from Seinfeld is a schmuck) are advocating BOTH “safe inhalation” rooms for Crack heads and safe shoot-up rooms for junkies. Why no rooms complete with razor blades, mirrors and thousand dollars bills for cocaine users? Why no bongs or rolling papers for pot smokers? Why not? The Liberals are in power in Ontario. I hope the Liberals appeal this to the Supreme Court as well, Then the rest of the world can once again witness the 9 Liberal Party appointed PRIZE PACKAGES at their most sanctimonious. To appeal to their base (The Grope & Flail, The Toronto Red Star, CBC) I predict the Liberals will appoint an Indian to the Supreme Court to deflect criticism and calls for real reform. When in crisis, the pattern of the Liberal Party is to appoint some high profile token minority to try to buy a few votes. For those of you who missed it the other day in Forces, the U.S. Supreme Court threw out an attempt at a Canadian style-shakedown of Big Tobacco/You. The difference is the U.S. is a civilized country where the rules of evidence apply. Canada, under the Liberals is a glorified Banana Republic, without the bananas. In other words there is a mob of unnecessary Dings in the Wall on the Federal payroll, that are also entitled to HUGE compensation packages should Ontario smokers come to their senses and throw out the Liberals. For those still unaware of the David (The Dingbat) Dingwall saga, a brief synopsis: Dingwall was a not too bright hack installed in a safe Halifax riding. In 1993, the Liberals appointed Dingwall Health Minister in the Liberal’s war on Canadian smokers. At the first opportunity in the 1997 election the smokers of Halifax did the rest of the country a HUGE favor, or so we thought, and voted Dingwall out of office. The Liberals appointed Dingwall to a series of ever more lucrative PATRONAGE APPOINTMENTS culminating with his heading the Royal Canadian Mint. At the same time Dingwall was engaged as a lobbyist in some very shady dealings that ended up in Gomery. Dingwall’s downfall came when Conservative M.P. Brian Pallister made a request under the Freedom of Information Act for a copy of Dingwall’s expenses as head of the mint. Dingwall ran up about a Million dollars worth of expenses, including $1.29 for chewing gum. The story the Liberal Party put out is that Dingwall ”RESIGNED” with two years left in his contract. But the generous Liberal Party of Canada is paying him even more hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars in the form of a two-year severance package. Huh? Name one other employee in the history of earth, except for washed up Liberal Party hacks in Canada, who resigned and was given a two-year severance package. Why can’t the Liberals stop lying about Dingwall? Nobody believes Dingwall had a sudden epiphany and resigned. Why can’t the Liberal Party have the decency to tell Canadians the obvious truth: Dingwall was fired for getting caught. Just another Ding in the Wall. The smokers in the riding of Val D’Ors (greater Halifax) passed judgment on David Dingwall when they voted him out of office in 1997 for being a complete schmuck. For the benefit of American readers of Forces Canada, and the 99.9% of Canadians outside of Nova Scotia who have no idea who David Dingwall is, here is a brief synopsis of the career of former Liberal Party Health Minister David Dingwall. David (The Dingbat) Dingwall was the first in a long line of Liberal Party Health Ministers who abused his position to start the Liberal Party war on Canadian smokers. The smokers of Halifax voted Dingwall out of office at the first opportunity in 1997. The Liberal Party’s response to the defeat of David Dingwall by a few hundred votes in a safe Liberal seat? They appointed Alan Rock Health Minister on Canada’s war on smokers and gave Dingwall a series of lucrative patronage appointments where he could not get into too much trouble. To soften the Liberal Party’s image among Canadian smokers, Allan Rock was dispatched as Canada’s Ambassador to the United Nations, a favored Liberal Party dumping ground, along with the Senate and the courts (including the Supreme Court) for washed up Liberals hacks and flacks that couldn’t get elected dog catcher outside of Rosedale or Westmount. To make the Dingwall story short, Dingwall ran up about a million bucks in expenses as head of the Royal Canadian Mint. Dingwall resigned in disgrace — there is an election coming — and he wants a big severance package even though his contract had two years to run. Surprise Surprise! The Liberals are giving Dingwall a big fat severance package so he can continue to lead the lifestyle to which he has become accustomed. Hey smokers; leave

Dolton’s economic girlie-man and expert in second-hand smoke, George Smitherman, announced on the front page of the Grope &Flail that he is in charge. After all what’s the big deal? According to the Grope & Flail hundreds or thousands die every year in Toronto hospitals and nursing homes of respiratory diseases they don’t have a clue about. But can’t these mysterious deaths be blamed on second-hand smoke? Virtually every public health expert appointed by the Dalton Gang is an “expert in TOBACCO CONTROL.” As the SARS fiasco demonstrated to the world Ontario’s Public Health where affirmative action meets the Peter Principle (one rises to a level of incompetence) became a laughingstock in front of the world. This latest outbreak in Toronto is front page news at the New York Times. Ergo CNN, CBS, ABC, BBC, Reuters etc is on the story, ready to whip up the hysteria. I’ll play Nostradamus: Paul Martin will end up on bended knees pleading for help from President Bush to please save Toronto. The fate of the Liberal Party depends on it.
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson on the Nuremberg Tribunal. Jackson took a leave of absence from the Supreme Court to act as chief prosecutor. Jackson had the highest contempt for the German judiciary that his behind edicts that it wasn’t their role to second-guess laws passed by Hitler.
Supreme Court of Canada Justice John Major, allowing the legalized rape of tobacco companies on bogus pretexts devoid of evidence. Due to the 9-0 decision by the LIBERAL PARTY APPOINTED prize packages on the Supreme Court of Canada, this is a special Forces Canada comment which I will call “Frieslerization” of the Canadian Judiciary. The LIBERAL PARTY appointed Supreme Court has gone from Politically Correct social-engineers to the second coming of the Judicial philosophy of Roland Friesler. Without wanting to be overly pedantic, Roland Freisler was undoubtedly the worst single individual to ever sit on a bench in all of human recorded history. Before being elevated to the Chief Justice of “The People’s Court”, Friesler was the top legal officer in Nazi Germany. Friesler earned the well-justified nickname “The Hanging Judge.” For example thanks to the personal efforts of Friesler who proudly and personally drafted the infamous Nuremberg Laws, and upheld as constitutional by a German judiciary who didn’t feel it their role to second-guess laws passed by Hitler in 1935 alone between 30,000-50,000 were executed for the crime of sexual relations between Aryans and Jews. Friesler’s legal philosophy was that the Judiciary had no business second-guessing laws passed by government-no matter how unfair. It was inevitable that Friesler was Hitler’s personal legal representative at the Wawsasnee Conference arguing the legality of the Holocaust. For some reason, Hitler had a fetish for legalism. Friesler went from drafting Hitler’s laws (including Canadian style anti-smoking bylaws) to being appointed the head of The People’s Court where he was Judge, jury and executioner. Friesler is most infamous for his antics on the bench. Friesler was the presiding Judge on the “White Rose” case (named for a cell of University Students executed for passing out leaflets criticizing Hitler, and attempting to alert the German people to the Holocaust). Friesler’s notoriety came in the trial of the plotters who unsuccessfully tried to assassinate Hitler. The verdict was never in doubt. What was memorable was Friesler screaming at the defendants like a lunatic before sentencing them to death by slow strangulation. An American bomber in 1945 put an end to the judicial career of Dr. Roland Friesler. (For some reason in Germanic countries lawyers are given the honorary title of Doctor, even though none ever wrote a thesis.). The essence of Frieslerism was that a law does not have to be fair only legal. For example the 1933 execution of a 14-year-old boy for the crime of criticizing Hitler was legal. Friesler was proud of his authorship of The 1935 Nuremberg Laws stripping Germany’s Jews of citizenship and all legal protection. Ultimatly Friesler made the case for the legality of the Holocaust. In Nazi Germany not a single law was ever ruled unconstitutional by the German judiciary. Granted it’s a bit of a stretch to compare the Holocaust to the rape of tobacco companies, but the basic legal principle is the same. Such niceties like the rule of evidence (the B.C.law upheld by the Supreme Court strips the tobacco companies of evidentiary defence. Honest), truth, honesty, and decency are summarily tossed out for a grandiose higher purpose. Robert Proctor, the great historian of Nazi science and medicine wrote that Nazi anti-tobacco laws were:” in some sense just as fascist as yellow stars and death camps.” The Liberal Party appointed prize packages on the Canadian Supreme Court are no better or different than Roland Friesler. < Back To "I read the news..." > |

plants, and the loss of 650 high paying direct jobs have suddenly hit
home in Ontario. Who knows what the economic spin-off will be for the
affected regions, but one can only assume they will be massive, not the
usual Forces Canada stuff about a few restaurants closing and a few more
unemployed waitresses. This is a serious self-inflicted economic hit in
Ontario.
