in some states to use against smokers -- and that's in ADDITION to the taxpayers' money it

to EVERY state). That is also in addition to the inappropriately named national American
Legacy Foundation (formed by the settlement) which will spend several hundred million a
year in anti-tobacco ads aimed to the spreading of hate and scientific/statistical
misinformation against tobacco and its users.
Though the operatives of the anti-tobacco gang
usually spend a lot of any money they get on meetings and travel and new toys for
themselves, what is left is enough money to buy a lot of political power. The gravy train
at the expenses of smokers and taxpayers has never been more rich. In the ultimate decay
of ethics and morality, a new kind of entrepreneur exists in the United States today: the
"heath" entrepreneur, who creates a fraud a day in exchange for a million
dollars a day. Not too shabby a deal, "huh"?
THE
INCOME TAX RETURNS OF THE JUNK SCIENCE MOB - Defrauding the public with junk

ANTI-TOBACCO CARTEL GETS $500,000 TO SCAN DOCUMENTS - ...So, here we
have it. Half a million dollars to scan documents -- just a small payoff for lies well
said and frauds well done. It is no coincidence that UCSF is the University where Stanton
Glantz works. Notice how this kind of political nepotism has become so bold and shameless,
it is publicly announced as if it was an ordinary, routine event. And unfortunately it is,
for when the system is so deeply rotten, corruption becomes the standard of business, and
no longer needs to be hidden -- or noticed.
THE
CARTEL AT WORK - The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is in the business of pushing
pharmaceutical nicotine. Its lobbying activities include state-funded smoking cessation
programs where nicotine delivery devices are recommended. The foundation is also active in
imposing smoking bans designed to compel cigarette smokers to quit smoking tobacco. When
these components are in place the Foundation reaps its financial rewards. Owning about
72,600,000 shares of Johnson and Johnson, the nicotine delivery device manufacturer, RWJF
makes money every time anti-tobacco legislation is enacted. Terms of the tobacco
settlement will be very kind to the pharmaceutical nicotine industry as this story makes
clear. Johnson & Johnson donates some nicotine devices that haven't sold well, takes a
tax deduction, all the while getting its foot into the $200-million smoking cessation
business in Minnesota. Now that the settlement is national, Johnson & Johnson and its
non-profit Foundation are sitting mighty pretty.
