Are there any petitions being circulated that can be signed by smokers to demand that smokers have the same rights as non-smokers?

Why should government interfere with a business owner’s way to run their business?  If non-smokers don’t want to be around smoke in restaurants or bars, let them go to a business whose owner, not the government, has decided they will be a non-smoking establishments.

Smokers have sat around too long and let themselves be run over.  We have lost our freedom and I want it back. Why not demand they stop serving alcohol in bars… It hurts far more people’s health, and destroys the entire family.

Thanks

Mary

Dear Mary,

We are sure that there are a lot of petitions out there that smokers can sign. The health fascists and the bureaucrats at their service are always in dire need of toilet paper to wipe their mouths with.

The questions you ask are those of a honest person, who has not yet realized, however – along with millions of others – that she is dealing with fascists often hidden in white coats who take the opportunity of pharmaceutically-sponsored junk science to implement their political/financial agendas at the speed of light and world-wide, at the service of the industry that pays them off in the first place.

Your objections are true and right and fair – but put this through you head: you are a second class citizen, without any right to implement your choice in public (and soon in private too), no right to talk, no right to argue, and absolutely no right to disagree with the corruption and frauds of “public health”. In short, you are wrong because you are sick.

Petitions?! We still have to see a petition signed by smokers that ever got anywhere but in the shredder – no matter how many signed it. Never mind petitions -- just pay the astronomical tax on the “drug” you are “addicted” to, fill the pockets of your persecutors each time you light up (and if you quit they’ll say it was thanks to them, anyway), smoke in the cold and obey. Clear? And, by the way, Big Pharma and its health fascists marionettes in “public health” are “taking care” of alcohol too – don’t worry – and food and soft drinks as well. In fact, they’ll soon take care of everything (with the appropriate repressions and drugs). Pointing the finger to another, presumably worse “vice” will not distract the health fascists: it will simply double them.

How do you like that. It is what you and millions of others will get as long as they just complain, and don’t do what it takes.

  • Is the hospitality industry prepared to sue the health "authorities", and expose the passive smoke fraud in courts -- and then sue the state for billions of dollars in damages -- instead of always trying to "make a deal" that never, ever works?

  • Are smokers ready to refuse to fill income tax returns until their rights are restored? Are they ready to noisily assemble outside the next antismoking convention with banners such as "Stop defrauding the people", or "Big Pharma Go Home"?

  • Are they prepared to occupy even as little as City Hall, and smoke in while offering physical resistance (or even passive resistance), and suffer the necessary consequences of the fight for their rights?

  • Are tobacco retailers and corner stores prepared to refuse to sell cigarettes in an entire state for unannounced periods of untold and unpredictable duration -- to deprive state and defeated Big Tobacco of their multi-billion dollar profits, and cause the necessary social unrest, instead of being the favorite target practice for bored police departments and mayors in search of pityful glory on tobacco underage sales?

How do they get there? By taking the initiative, and printing and distributing flyers, making phone calls, organizing meetings, educating people - relentlessly. In short, by employing resources. But as long as the football game takes priority over liberty issues, nothing will change. Ever heard of the '60s? That's what it takes -- and what makes the difference. You want your freedom back? What are you prepared to do? Why don’t you start by helping us out -- so we can help you?
