A “DISTURBING WEBSITE” – THANK YOU! From: Stacy This is by far the most disturbing website that I have ever viewed. I am certain that others have made it clear before (and in much stronger words) that they disagree with the viewpoints laid out in this site, but I could not view it without voicing my opinion of the contents. I don't disagree that smokers have a right to do to their bodies as they please, but I do disagree with the tone of this website--as a last bastion for those who choose to believe that smoking isn't harmful, and as a place for tobacco conspiracy theorists to spout their money-tainted views of the status quo. Addiction may "be a choice", but that does not justify the continued promotion of a known and documented dangerous product to humans, especially those who are under age, or, in the case of developing nations, ignorant (and kept that way) to the dangers. May you enjoy the many fruits of your labors (as hundreds of thousands of dead smokers already have). Stacy Dear Stacy, Thank you for at least recognising our right to do with our body what we please! Most of your “colleagues” do not even go that far! And you are right about the “stronger words” we receive, but they are answered back with adequate strong words -- don’t worry. But you are absolutely right: the truth IS disturbing -- and today more than ever. Concerning the “money-tainted” views (we wish it were so in our case), we are doing nothing else but documenting the money-tainted propaganda of “public health” and its believers, who do not seem to have any problem stretching their hands to take dirty pharmaceutical money to mislead the population with false information and hate campaigns. At least, we document what we say with science. Since you throw the moralistic punch at us, what do you have to say about the pharmaceutical corruption of public and private institutions on tobacco, alcohol, and much more? Or you are hypocrite enough to use “selective morality”? Addiction is a choice – and in the case of smoking is also an outright lie, pushed for the purpose of marketing pharmaceutical deadly or useless garbage to cure a disease that does not exist. Furthermore, the “dangerous product” is so “known and documented”; not even one death or disease can be proven to be caused uniquely by smoking – nor it is possible to even quantify the contribution of smoking to that one death or disease. A very peculiar “epidemic” don’t you think? -- and a very uncomfortable reality that the antismoking gangsters do all they can to hide, and to submerge with propaganda. Finally, we truly hope that we will enjoy the fruits of our labour. It seems that it is working, as more and more people are developing intolerance to this dishonesty in spite of (and perhaps because of) the smoking bans. However, as far as we are concerned, our labour will come to fruition only when the first antismoking cons (especially the ones in white coats) will hit the slammer for their frauds – and especially for having betrayed the sacred trust of the people. Then it will be time to light up a cigar – in a formerly no-smoking area, of course. Regards, FORCES International |
