Citizen's Toolkit
I am 53 years old, and when I was in jr. high and high school I lived through the Watts Riots, the Vietnam Protests and such. "Back then" we were taught in school we had the "Right" to disagree with our government, how to peacefully protest, and how to effect change in government.
From the younger people I am talking with now, I am learning this is no longer taught in schools and probably my generation was the last to learn this in school.
Quite often we at FORCES are asked: What can I do? How do I do it?
Thus, the inspiration for the Citizen's Toolkit.
What follows are thirteen specific things, and how to do them, you choose what will work for you and what you want to do.
We do not claim these are complete, so if you can add information for the good of all, please do so.
A special Thank You to oldstudent for sorting this all out for us and getting it ready to be posted here at The Tavern!

Okay, I want to be an Activists, how do I do it?
While some advocacy organizations have successfully used e-mail and Internet campaigns to spread word of their causes, most chain letters that call for you to take a stand against some great injustice are most often the result of someone who wants to see some change, but doesn't want to exert much effort, doesn't have the resources or simply doesn't know how to properly raise support.

Why are we refusing to talk about the fraudulant use epidemiology, calling it "science" to promote a political agenda?
It doesn't matter if it is anything from trans fat, second hand smoke, home schooling or gun control - there are those who are using a numbers game and calling it science to pass legislation.
