The Clear Message is Suspended (for now)

Well, as you can see, I lost over 3 months of Clear Messages due to our recent technical difficulties.

I was looking forward to announcing on the one year anniversary of the Clear Message on 12-18-09 that they'd collectively garnered (I estimate) at least 30,000 page views for the Tavern for the year.

I will pick it up again at some point, probably on the first day of one of the upcoming months. Until then, the clear message is temporarily suspended. I will probably add titles to the clear messages in the next go round, rather than just calling each one "MM-DD-YY Clear Message of the Day". I was tempted to start doing that quite a few times.

"The Clear Message" of the day is something that I usually check religiously, so it's a shame that half of it was lost. Hopefully this a lesson to everyone to make regular backups of everything, because shit happens.

Indeed! Winston, you have done a great job. It sucks that so many posts have been lost, but we'll struggle and post on. I've been missing Forces!!

It's a shame so much was lost but I'm enjoying reading what's there.
