As predicted, businesses along
the eastern and southern borders of Washington State are
experiencing the affects of Washington becoming a police state.
Business owners in Clarkston,
Washington, are losing their customers to Lewiston, Idaho, where
there is no smoking ban. Here in the tri-cities, it is about 25
miles to the Oregon border, where there is no smoking ban.
Twenty-five miles is not that
far, and while I am there I stock up on groceries, gas up, play
golf, eat out, go bowling…etc…etc. c. and no one tells me to
put out that horrible cigarette!! There is also no sales tax!!
The problem with a police state
is there must be some sort of barrier between the citizens and
freedom. Rumor has it the politicians are discussing putting up
walls along the eastern and southern borders of Washington to
prevent the citizens from entering free states. Of course
they have been trying to do that along the Mexican border for
years.
