The world’s first smoker’s guide to Scotland contains all the information a
tobacco-tolerant visitor (or even a resident) to Scotland needs, from travel
to accommodation, top tourist tourist attractions to golf.
Tributes are paid to Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson, Bonnie Prince
Charlie, Sir Walter Scott, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, J.M. Barrie, Alexander
Fleming, Sean Connery and other famous Scottish smokers, and there’s a
chapter to the smoker-friendly distilleries and single malts that can be
found on the Whisky Trail. There are even chapters on smoker-friendly
health and fitness centres, the etiquette of smoking, and the best places
for naturists to get their kilts off and enjoy a fag!
The foreword is written by Lord Harris of High Cross, formerly a lecturer on
economics at St Andrew’s University. The Afterword is by the noted
newspaper columnist, Virginia Ironside, who has no known connection with
Scotland but is a born-again smoker!
