As of today it is illegal to smoke cigarettes in Central Park, in New York City.&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Protest planned</strong>!<br />

Audrey Silk, leader of a smoker advocacy group New York City Citizens Lobbying Against Smoker Harassment, is organizing a &ldquo;Smoke-in the park&rdquo; on May 28, where a crowd is expected to puff away on the Brighton Beach boardwalk in protest of the ban. &ldquo;This law will be paid the respect it deserves,&rdquo; Silk vowed. <br />

As of July 1, smoking will be banned in all recreation and parks in the Philadelphia area.&nbsp; Wonder how they are going to enforce this?<br type="_moz" />

Most of us over 50 and all baby boomers lived with parents, aunts and uncles who smoked.&nbsp; Then we went into the workforce where everyone smoked at their desk.&nbsp; How did we survive?<br type="_moz" />

Over 800 pubs have closed in Scotland since the smoking ban began five years ago.&nbsp;

SB1133 introduced in the State Senate would ban smoking in bars and restaurants outdoor patios and casino’s.&nbsp; New Orleans is one of the few places you can drink walking down the French Quarter&nbsp; It is a great party town, with wonderful resturants and great music.&nbsp; The people of New Orleans have suffered enough, every smoking ban has caused a 20 to 50% decline in revenue for small business they don’t need this now or ever.<br />
