Buffalo, NY&nbsp;Tuesday, a state appellate court ruled the state can collect sales tax on tobacco sold to non-natives on Indian land while the Seneca Nation challenges regulations by state tax officials. The Senecas have a different strategy now that the temporary restraining order against the state has been lifted.&quot;<br />

The Government never will keep treaties with the Indian Nations.&nbsp; We hope the Senecas continue to fight!<br />

The FDA unveiled it’s new packaging for cigarettes beginning in September 2012.&nbsp; They are graphic, vile photographs which will be on more than half of the cigarette package. &nbsp;<br />

We all have wondered what the Tobacco Companies have been doing, now we know.&nbsp; They have been negotiating with 46 states to recoup 2 <b>billion </b>dollars from the 1998 Master Settlement Agreement.&nbsp;&nbsp; Does that mean that the price of cigarettes will go down?&nbsp; Maybe.<br type="_moz" />

A better idea is to find a cure for Cancer.&nbsp; The American Cancer Society has assets of <b>one billion dollars</b> and only spend <b>four</b> <b>hundred million</b> for research.&nbsp; They have been working to &quot;find a cure&quot; for 50 years and so far nothing?&nbsp; They found drugs to live with HIV in less than 10 years but they can’t find a cure for cancer?&nbsp; They should stop lobbying and get back to their original mission FIND A CURE FOR CANCER!<br type="_moz" />

The excuse of &quot;for the children&quot; certainly takes on new meaning. It’s below the belt for the CDC to exploit children in the hope of compelling adults to quit smoking.<br />

Gov. Jindal of Louisiana meant it when he said, &quot;no new taxes&quot;. The governor vetoed a bill to keep a 4 cent tax on cigarettes. The legislators tried to override his veto, but they failed.<br type="_moz" />

San Bernadino, CA.&nbsp; Riverside has pledged to the Riverside County Department of Public Health to ban outdoor patio smoking at 50 restaurants.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br />
