In Ontario, Canada, tobacco tax revenue is lost to bootleggers and, of course, the Natives, who sell cartons of cigarettes for $8.00 a carton. What is not ascertained here, is that the Ontario government could be doing a thriving business in taxed tobacco products, if they used one ounce of sense and taxed it on a reasonable basis, and stopped their anti-tobacco campaigns.
