The Ohio governor believes there are better uses for state funds than supporting antitobacco fanaticism.
There’s a big fight already and a court battle ahead. Antis from Ohio to Washington, DC, are all in a dither. There’s friction in the prohibitionist ranks as they jockey for position, following the money with greedy eyes, hoping to curry favor wherever favor may pay best in the end. Every dollar taken away from contemporary antismoking, no matter where it goes in the state budget, is a dollar better spent. We’ll keep an eye on this fight.
