The Ohio Health Department lists at site linked with 59 businesses that have been fined $100 for "allowing" smoking on their premises. Further fines could be imposed after reviews have been made.

The loss to business owners continues unabated in the State of Ohio. Each and every one of these property owners has been fined $100 dollars for allowing people to smoke on private property. Smoking bans are a clear violation of property rights and the free market economy, but one cannot help but wonder where these business owners were hiding when they knew that this legislation was being considered. At the very least, all 59 of them could have made objections. That does not absolve, however, the State of Ohio and the people therein who voted to pass these laws.
