As Anti gears up to a Final Solution to the smoker problem we recall a wise article from seventeen years ago.

The stench of today’s anti-smoking movement is nothing new. It’s been growing for years. Florence King, one of America’s truly gifted writers, described it wonderfully in 1990. Miss King calls anti-smokers "smokists" in the manner of "racists." Never accept the oppressive stench of bigotry, keep your dignity, and keep fighting.
