FARR goes way too far in promoting the concept that even a single drink is unsafe for pregnant women.
Here we go again. The South African FARR program insists that even one drink is unsafe for pregnant women. Instead of addressing the debilitating effects of extreme poverty which afflict South African women, how much easier it is to blame them for drinking too much. It is reminiscent of the tired old "one single whiff of second hand smoke can kill you".
As we all know, logic dictates, and suppressed scientific studies state absolutely, there is no danger whatsoever in second hand smoke. It is likely that this new dictate of FARRs will prove to be the same drivel promoted by the anti-tobacco gangs which infest our city councils, and our state and national governments.
