Neither inherited wealth nor high-paying jobs explain how Bill and Hillary became so rich. With the exception of one year as a law professor at a state institution, Bill Clinton’s only employment has been with state and the federal government. Mrs. Clinton has more experience in the non-governmental work force although none of her jobs with advocacy groups, as well as a brief stint at a private law practice, can be called lucrative.
