John Stossel thinks banning smoking outdoors is just nonsense. "Dozens of studies have searched for a connection between secondhand smoke and lung cancer or heart disease. Most found none. A few found a small relationship, but only in people who lived with smokers. They were exposed to smoke every day — for years — in homes and cars. To jump from that to assume that whiffs of smoke on a beach are harmful is silly.
"You smokers are wimps. A few of you have banded together to fight this assault on your freedom, but most of you just let the state walk over you". He’s right, where is your backbone?
