Søren Højbjerg recently noted growing lung cancer incidence estimates, for California, as for the United States as a whole. While the most recent increase estimates are historically remarkable the trend to more lung cancer over time, even as the proportion of smokers has declined, and cigarette sales have stagnated, has continued over long duration.
