Barack Obama says the debate is over about impending global warming catastrophe. The Cato Institute ran a full page ad on Monday 30 March in the New York Times, Washington Post, Washington Times, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times with the heading: “With all due respect Mr. President, that is not true.” It states the case for calm and reason and is signed by dozens of scientists. Kudos to Cato for flying the banner of sanity. Rational thinking is rarely given its due respect these days. That is a catastrophe. Link to the Cato ad is below.
