Arizona passed a bill to allow the use of medical marijuana, however, selling marijuana is illegal by Federal Law.&nbsp; Apparently, Arizona has ignored Federal Law and now wants to tax marijuana by 6.6%.&nbsp; How does this work exactly?&nbsp; If your doctors gives you a &quot; written certification&quot;&nbsp; for marijuana you will be taxed but if you buy it from the local drug dealer you won’t. It is amazing how legislators can tap dance around an issue to collect taxes.&nbsp; Medical marijuana is used by cancer patients to overcome the side effects of chemotherapy.<br />

Wyoming

The American Lung Association gave Wyoming an &quot;F&quot; because there is no statewide smoking ban in Wyoming.&nbsp; Why should anyone care what the ALA has to say?&nbsp; They have been funded primarily by Big Pharma, who wants to sell their nicotine devices by using the ALA and other nonprofits to change the behavior of citizens.&nbsp; Nonprofits should not be lobbying for smoking bans or any other ban on a legal product. They should be spending their money on research, not wining and dining legislators.<br type="_moz" />

Canada’s tobacco tax is too high, and this is resulting in a major illegal tobacco trade.&nbsp; Well,&nbsp; what did they expect?&nbsp; You cannot force people to quit. Indiana considering smoking ban

Don’t Believe the Lies of Second Hand Smoke

The new Surgeon General simply put is – fat.&nbsp; She could loose weight but apparently has chosen not too.&nbsp; Why is that important?&nbsp;&nbsp; People in glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks and she is throwing them.&nbsp; Isn’t she suppose to be an example of the governement’s model of physical health?<br />

Her recently released report on second hand smoke lacks credibility as does she .&nbsp; If there was one ounce of truth in her report,&nbsp; 20 and 30 year olds would be dying from atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and they are not.&nbsp; One would assume then that everyone over 50 would be dead from heart disease or cancer and they are not.<br />

Greece, Cracking the Whip!

Last week we reported that the Health Minister of Greece was going to make an announcement regarding the smoking ban, which has been ignored by the people.&nbsp; He certainly did.&nbsp; He is hiring more inspectors to enforce the ban and increasing the fines to a substantial amount.&nbsp; Up to $13,350.00 for bar and restaurant owners and $500 Euros for individuals.&nbsp; More than 40% of the citizens of Greece smoke. Time for a new government.&nbsp; Kick this bum out!&nbsp; He is suppose to represent the people not implement laws that the people don’t want.<br type="_moz" />
