Four US groups file complaints against the SG

<div style="text-align: justify">Following&nbsp;the footsteps of FORCES International, four American groups have now filed misconduct complaints against the US Surgeon General about <a href="https://www.forces.org/Scientific_Portal/evidence_viewer.php?id=131">the infamous 2006 report on passive smoking</a> with the Office of Research Integrity.</div>

Great obituary – but they forgot somebody

<div style="text-align: justify">We are glad to publish this obituary, recently published by <i>The Times</i> of London. The obituary concerns Mr. Common Sense. Unfortunately the writers forgot a <i>cause of death</i>: junk science epidemiology, in its thousands of manifestations, most notably with regard to passive smoking. Perhaps the writers forgot this in their grief at the loss of Common Sense, or in fear of being sued by very culpable parties who are also left unmentioned in the epitaph: public health authorities.</div>
